Community Education

Welcome to Community Education, where there's something for everyone!

Community Education offers a variety of flexible and convenient non-credit courses and programs designed for the lifelong learner at any age or stage in life. Community Education provides the community, students, and industry partners with:

  • Workforce Training: short, fast, flexible programs to get you right into the workforce
  • English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL): courses for individuals who want to improve their English for personal, professional, or academic growth.
  • Kids & Teen College: fun and exciting classes for kids 5-16 years old. Your child will learn skills and hobbies to prepare them for the future, beyond the ordinary experiences for your extraordinary child.

Refund Policy for Non-Credit Classes 
Unless otherwise specified, students must drop non-credit classes prior to the course start date to be eligible for a 100% refund of tuition and course fees. (https://www.estrellamountain.edu/students/student-business-services/tuition-refund-policy)

Basic Computer: Click with Confidence

Introduction to personal computer operations and usage. Learn about software applications, as well as an introduction to email, and how to maintain your safety/security while online. Course will include instruction on basic keyboarding skills, the importance of passwords, and discussion of new technology (phones).

join us to learn basic cookie decorating techniques using sugar cookies as our base. No baking involved in this class, but lots of fun! Campus Calm: Yoga for Beginners

Join us for a beginner-friendly yoga class focused on gentle movement, mindful breathing, and building confidence on the mat. We’ll explore foundational poses, simple stretches, and relaxation techniques to support both physical and mental wellness—no experience, flexibility, or fancy gear required. Just come as you are and leave feeling a little lighter, calmer, and more connected. You will be asked to sign an Assumption of Risk form on day 1 of the class.

Explore the soul of American backyard barbecue through the art and science of marinades. Students will learn the roles of salt, acid, heat, sweet, and herbs in flavor design, understand how cook times and temperatures affect marinades, and create their own custom blend to take home.
